Entrepreneurs can benefit from assistance under the Accessibility for Development program. The program is 100% co-financed by EU funds. The program is designed for micro, small, medium and large enterprises. It aims to activate entrepreneurs in the field of assistive and compensatory technologies and universal design.
O support under the Accessibility programme as a chance for development may be applied for by entrepreneurs:
- manufacturers of products or services who want their services to be used by people with special needs on an equal footing with other users (assistive and compensatory technologies)
- entrepreneurs who want to deepen their knowledge on how to design products so that they are useful to everyone, without the need for adaptation (universal design), who would like to introduce these products and services on the market (commercialization)
The program is 100% subsidized by EU funds, which means that participating companies do not
bear the cost of their own contribution.
The competition is held throughout Poland, divided into five macro-regions:
- macroregion no 1 - voivodships: kujawsko-pomorskie, podlaskie, pomorskie, warmińsko-mazurskie;
- macroregion no 2 - Voivodships: Lubelskie, Mazowieckie;
- macroregion no 3 - Voivodships: małopolskie, podkarpackie, świętokrzyskie;
- macroregion no. 4 - Łódzkie, Opolskie, Śląskie voivodships;
- macroregion no 5 - voivodships: dolnośląskie, lubuskie, zachodniopomorskie, wielkopolskie
