Radom is a city with nearly two hundred thousand inhabitants in central Poland, fifteenth in the country and second in the Mazovian Voivodeship (after Warsaw) in terms of population. Radom is an academic center and a socio-economic hub that concentrates numerous functions of subregional scope.

Investments
Thanks to the creation of important pro-development activities, the city is strengthening its position as a socio-economic center of subregional scope. The most important investments include:

  • reconstruction of city sections along National Road No. 9;
  • construction of the NS route;
  • modernization of railway line No. 8 on the Radom – Warsaw route;
  • construction of Warsaw-Radom Airport named after the Heroes of Radom June 1976;
  • planned construction of the S12 route.

Economy
Radom is a city of modern industry, where companies operate that are recognized not only in the country but also worldwide.
Thanks to the technologies used and continuous development, they belong to the top tier in their industries. The metal industry is developing particularly strongly, thanks to which Radom has become an important center of this branch of the economy on the map of the country.
The city also sees great potential in the business services sector. Investors deciding to invest outside large agglomerations are looking at Radom, which offers moderate costs of doing business, low staff turnover, and proximity to the capital of the country.

Talent
Significant factors supporting Radom’s attractiveness include the availability of educated graduates from secondary schools and universities, a special economic zone, and a dual education system at the level of upper secondary schools.
Currently, six universities operate in the city. The largest of them – the Kazimierz Pułaski University of Radom – has already twice implemented postgraduate studies in outsourcing, which has resulted in several dozen graduates prepared to work in the business services sector.
The proximity of scientific centers, R&D units, and numerous educational institutions, as well as many years of tradition and work ethos, create Radom’s human resources base.

Research and Development
The Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Technology and Exploitation has been operating in Radom since 1986 and specializes in creating innovations in the field of construction and operation of machines, technical safety and environmental protection, as well as the transfer of advanced technologies to industrial applications.
The extensive scientific and research facilities also guarantee access to innovative solutions and the latest technical thought.
More than 26 thousand entities are registered in Radom in the REGON system.

Recognizable Brands
National and foreign companies recognized in Poland and around the world operate here. Thanks to the use of advanced production processes, they are at the forefront of the industries they represent. These enterprises are irrefutable proof that Radom is an excellent place to conduct business activities. The Polish Armaments Group has its headquarters here, as well as one of the most modern factories of the military industry in Europe – the “ŁUCZNIK” Weapons Factory – Radom. Companies providing services such as call/contact centers, financial and accounting services, archiving, and IT also operate here.
The economic development of Radom is supported by local business organizations, thanks to which entrepreneurs can more effectively and efficiently use their potential.
