The competition, organized since 2002, is a non-commercial, nationwide undertaking of the Business Centre Club and the Ministry of Finance.
The main objectives of the competition are: to create a friendly atmosphere between tax offices and entrepreneurs, to encourage businesses to settle their taxes in a reliable and timely manner, to create an atmosphere of mutual goodwill and acceptance through a better understanding of the rights and obligations of both parties and the conditions that accompany the activities of tax offices and businesses, to make public and promote high standards of customer service achieved by the awarded institutions, to disseminate good practices in tax offices throughout the country, and to strengthen the positive image of tax offices and their staff.
The title "Entrepreneur Friendly Tax Office" is an award from entrepreneurs to tax offices and their employees. It selects the best functioning, according to entrepreneurs, tax offices.
