Thanks to the creation of important pro-development activities, the city strengthens its position as a social and economic center with a subregional range. The most important investments :
- reconstruction of sections of the city along national road No. 9;
- construction of the NS route,
- modernization of railroad line nr 8 on Radom-Warsaw route
- construction of the Warsaw-Radom Airport named after the Heroes of Radom June 1976;

There are currently six universities in the city. The largest of them - the University of Radom. Kazimierz Pułaski - has already completed postgraduate outsourcing studies twice, which resulted in several dozen graduates prepared to work in the business services sector.

The Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Operational Technology has been operating in Radom since 1986, which specializes in creating innovation in the field of machine construction and operation, technical safety and environmental protection, as well as the transfer of advanced technologies for industrial applications.

In Radom, over 26,000 entities are registered in the REGON system.

Domestic and foreign enterprises recognizable in Poland and worldwide operate here, which due to the use of advanced production processes belong to the forefront in the industries they represent. These companies are irrefutable proof that Radom is a great place to do business. The Polish Armaments Group and one of the most modern factories of the military industry in Europe are located here - Fabryka Broni "ŁUCZNIK" - Radom.
