On November 25, 2024, the Kazimierz Pulaski University of Radom hosted DEMO DAY the finale of the Radom Academy of Entrepreneurship and Innovation program, a public task co-financed by the Mazovian Voivodeship Self-Government
The event was a summary of a several-month program, within which participants developed their business ideas, gaining knowledge both during training and using mentoring from experts tailored to their teams and ideas. The meeting attracted representatives of the Marshal's Office of the Mazovian Voivodeship, the Radom City Office, the Kazimierz Pułaski University of Radom, as well as business representatives and a large group of young innovation enthusiasts - students and youth from Radom. In total, over 150 people took part in the final presentations of the participants!
During the event, awards were given for the best projects of innovative solutions. The presentations were in the form of 5-minute speeches,
and the teams presented their business idea in a creative and interesting way and then answered questions from the jury composed of:
- Małgorzata Białczak – Marshal's Office of the Mazovian Voivodeship
- Krzysztof Turek – Entrepreneurship and Investor Service Office, Radom City Hall
- Cezary Skarżyński – OVHcloud
- Wojciech Jagielski and Aneta Kszczotek-Dwórnik – Radom Entrepreneurship Center Association
The jury assessed the projects according to the following criteria: innovation, market opportunities, competitive advantage and quality of presentation.
As part of the Start Up Academy program, six teams participated in Demo Day:
- Story Seek – an application for searching for interesting content tailored to the user's needs among books and films;
- Green Garden – public lawn mowing services with our own autonomous lawn mower;
- Rad Game – an application that enriches the way of exploring the city, promoting the history of Radom;
- Immer – an application that shortens learning time and maximizes its effectiveness, supporting learning and preparation for exams;
- Gym Rad – a space for computer game enthusiasts;
- Dream Moments – a platform for comprehensive event organization, connecting event organizers with providers of special event services.
The winner was the Immer project. for their innovative project that uses artificial intelligence to support the learning process, exam preparation and studying, which the jury considered the most promising and sophisticated. The team received the main prize
in the amount of 10,000 PLN and technology voucher for cloud services worth up to 100,000 Euro from technology partner OVHcloud.
The audience award went to the band Rad Game,offering an application that enriches sightseeing and learning about the history of Radom
The Radom Academy of Entrepreneurship and Innovation program was organized by the Institute for Creating Entrepreneurship, operating under the Startup Academy brand, and the Kazimierz Pułaski University of Radom Development Foundation and was co-financed by the Mazovian Voivodeship Self-Government.
Marcin Fogiel was a guest speaker and spoke in an interesting and motivating way about "Is it worth moving from Geneva to Radom, or the pros and cons of being an entrepreneur?"
