The Industrial Development Agency is still interested in constructing a modern office building on the former premises of the Weapons Factory at Przemysłowa Street. Such assurance was given during the meeting of ARP management with the city authorities. ARP initially announced modernization of the existing building of the Factory. Due to the change of technical and market conditions which resulted in the lack of business justification for its realization, it changed its plans. It wants to demolish it and build a completely new office building in this place.
– Radom needs a modern office center in line with the aspirations of the city. Therefore, we are preparing a concept of a completely new building meeting the highest standards of working conditions as well as communication with other districts says Paweł Kolczyński, Vice-President of ARP S.A.
- The talks were held in a very good atmosphere. For us, as the city authorities, the most important thing is that ARP's investment has a chance to be implemented at all. I'm happy with the assurances we've received, because it's a chance to create even about 2 thousand new jobs, especially in the area of business services. This is a developing sector in which our city already has a very strong position and is indicated as a place of great development potential. says Deputy Mayor Katarzyna Kalinowska.
Representatives of the ARP authorities who attended the meeting also assured that they are interested in cooperating in the creation of an optimal communication layout, including, among others, a sufficient number of parking spaces in the vicinity of the new office building.
