Support package for Radom entrepreneurs

Redemption of local taxes and rents is the basis of the "Safe Workplaces" package addressed to the Radom entrepreneurs. - As we have announced, we have prepared solutions which are to help the Radom-based companies survive this difficult time and save the existing jobs. Of course, our proposals can only refer to such areas that remain within the competence of the local government. Certainly the government has more room for action here, but we as the local government, to the best of our ability, want to create conditions that will minimize the negative effects of the epidemic - says Radosław Witkowski, the mayor.

The procedure for applying for aid will be simplified as much as possible and will take place at the individual request of entrepreneurs who have suffered losses due to the coronavirus outbreak. The support of taxpayers has a character of public aid (de minimis). - We want our activities to facilitate the functioning of companies in this very difficult time. What we are focusing on is the property tax and rent for the premises which are in the possession of Radom municipality - emphasizes Katarzyna Kalinowska, Deputy President of Radom.

The support package for entrepreneurs includes:

1. remission of real estate tax and means of transport tax at the individual request of an entrepreneur

- Tax write-off (for the year 2020 only) - for taxpayers who have outstanding tax liabilities to the municipality for the year 2020

2. deferment/forgiveness of rent payments for rental units in which the municipality is the owner:

 - Deferment of rent payment for 3 months

 - Redemption of rent of premises

3. water payment deferral

On the website of the City Hall there is a special database of stores offering delivery of purchases to customers and restaurants offering both the delivery and personal collection of ordered dishes. The Magistrate is still accepting applications from stores, bars and restaurants that offer shopping and meal delivery. Posters referring to this list will appear on public transportation buses.
