"How to unleash the potential of Industry 4.0 in Poland? Small and medium-sized enterprises in the process of digital transformation" is the main topic of the Meeting of the Regional Stakeholders Group of the project "Smart SMEs towards Industry 4.0 - SMARTY" organized by Research Network Łukasiewicz - Institute of Exploitation Technology together with the Marshal's Office of Mazowieckie Voivodeship.
The meeting took place on 14 January 2020 at the Mazovian Centre for Contemporary Art "Elektrownia" in Radom.
Poland is a country with a high potential both in terms of creating new technologies and implementing innovative solutions that fit in with the concept of Industry 4.0, but success in unlocking this potential requires involvement of key groups of stakeholders creating a broad ecosystem of cooperation, including both entrepreneurs and research and development units, business environment institutions and technology providers - these were the main conclusions that appeared in the summary of the meeting.
The event was attended by more than 60 people representing both industry and technology suppliers, as well as public institutions - including the Radom Economic Zone Service Office, involved in the implementation of initiatives supporting Polish enterprises in digital transformation, including the Ministry of Development, the Polish Future Industry Platform Foundation, the National Contact Point for EU Research Programmes and four institutes of the Łukasiewicz Research Network
