Completion of the project "New skills - new opportunities for life"

The project "New skills - new opportunities for life" assumed a joint development of solutions with the transnational partner, which aim to create an innovative solution in introducing people who are excluded - intellectually disabled - to the labour market. This will reduce their social "rejection", raise their standard of living (receiving a salary) and teach them to be independent and resourceful in life. For employers, the employment of people with disabilities is an opportunity to fill vacancies and, at the same time, to gain loyal employees who only need appropriate guidance and more direction at the first stage of employment. Equally important for the employer is to obtain additional funding from external sources for the employment of people with disabilities. 

An international solution containing already tested models and ways of working will in a better, more efficient and more effective way answer the problems diagnosed in the national project. Getting to know new organizational and technical solutions, their joint implementation with a foreign partner will significantly enrich its substantive and practical value

One of the results of the project is the publication of a guide for employers interested in hiring people with disabilities.
